Our Story

This church on the corner is a place of Christ-centered fellowship. Our journey began with a small group of dedicated individuals united by faith and community. As we start a new chapter, we invite you to join us.

What We Believe

We are a community on a journey to discover what it means to be fully alive—to God, to our true selves, to each other and to the beauty and brokenness of our world. We recognize that each of us may be at different places on this journey. Our Statement of Faith proclaims the beliefs and understanding of NDCC and guides its teaching, ministries and activities.

Pastor Fernando Pedroza

Pastor Fernando Pedroza joins New Day Community Church after more than eight years in youth and music ministry, along with other leadership roles. He served at Iglesia Emanuel de la Comunidad, which recently merged to become one church with Community Church of Hayward.

Pastor Fernando has a heart for ministry, serving, and meeting people where they are in life and in faith. He brings strong organizational, pastoral, and management skills to his new role as Senior Pastor.

As a bi-vocational leader, Pastor Fernando works at an electronics firm in Palo Alto. He also continues to support the youth ministry of Community Church of Hayward, which serves students at New Day Community Church.
